The needling process, also known as needle punching, is a traditional method of manufacturing producing felt products to a vast array of applications.

Needle punching is a sustainable method of felt making without the need to utilise expensive and environmentally damaging gas in the process. Here, fibres are mechanically interlocked using barbed needles which make it possible to also attach a variety of backing fabrics to the felt.
