Fibre

Since 1870, fibres have been our bread and butter – and a lot has changed along the way.
Today, you’ll find a vast selection of recycled manmade and natural fibres, each manufactured for specific applications.

Fibre combinations to suit many applications

Our products can be manufactured from a wide and versatile range of fibres.

Recycled fibres are available both in bale and felted form, and natural / virgin fibres can be blended and felted into a variety of sizes and weights.

Whether you need fibres pre-felted or in bale form, we have you covered with a range of options to meet your compliance and safety standards. Our portfolio includes:

  • Wool fibre – With its inherent fire retardant, insulation and moisture absorbing properties, wool is an ideal fibre for furniture, mattresses and insulative packaging products.
  • Biodegradable fibres – These are the ideal choice for eco-friendly packaging and other sustainable products.
  • Fire retardant fibres – We do not use fire retardant chemicals on our felt and waddings. We use Wool as a natural fire retardant fibre to enable our products pass stringent industry standards.
  • Recycled Fibres – An ideal choice of fibres to enhance your ECO and sustainable credentials. A wide range of textiles can be recycled and made into high quality products from mattress waddings to insulative and horticultural waddings.
  • Natural Fibres – There are a vast number of natural alternatives to manmade fibres, such as hemp, cotton, jute or wool. These can replace man made products in a diverse range of applications if companies wish to enhance their sustainable or carbon footprint.
